Before painting this piece I laid the canvas down on the floor of my LA Art Pad, where a couple select friends and I put our hands and feet in paint and danced and played and dreamed on the canvas. Then it was stretched, the letters taped down and the painting began. The final step, my favorite part, is pealing off the tape, which I sometimes forget is even there for a moment, making it a great surprise. You can see the hand and foot prints from our magical time, inside the pealed letters.
